The Procedure
The dental implants procedure takes several steps to complete. During your first implant dentistry visit to our office near Houston, Dr. Kelly LeBlanc will surgically place a titanium post into your jaw. The post serves as the anchor for the porcelain crown that replaces your natural tooth. After this initial work, your mouth will need to heal. Several months later, when the jaw bone has fused to the post, the porcelain crown will be attached to the implant completing the procedure. Because the porcelain dental crowns used in implant dentistry will be matched to the exact color of your surrounding teeth, many patients undergo REMBRANDT Sapphire® teeth whitening at our Spring, Texas office prior to the placement of their dental implants. Doing so ensures that the implant will look and feel as natural as possible.

This mold is used to fashion dentures that will fit precisely into the mouth, making them both comfortable and durable. Once your new dentures are ready, a second visit is required to place them. Because the new dentures may feel a little out of place at first, subsequent visits to Dr. Kelly LeBlanc for adjustments may be necessary to ensure that the most comfortable fit is achieved.
